Confederate States of America – Uncut Block of Bond Coupons
$15 Coupon Sheet • February 17, 1864 Issue • Bond No. 779
An appealing and historically significant uncut block of Confederate bond coupons from the February 17, 1864 issue—one of the final and most recognizable financial instruments produced by the Confederacy during the Civil War. These coupons were attached to interest-bearing bonds and redeemed semiannually, though many—like this group—survived unredeemed as the Confederate government collapsed.
This uncut block originates from Bond #779, retaining full margins, bold printing, and excellent detail. Surviving in uncut format is far less common, as most were separated and redeemed individually during the war.
