$20 1864 CONFEDERATE T-67 Vice Pres Alexander Stephens + TN State Capitol Fully-Framed GEM

A breathtaking example that is easily one of the nicest and most original Confederate notes we've handled since 1981. This T-67 has deep color on both sides with Alexander Stephens in the portrait oval on the right and the Tennessee State Capitol in Nashville as the central vignette. The design is fully-framed with sharp corners and exceptional eye-appeal. 

In August 2025, the most recent sale from Heritage Auctions, a PCGS example with a more muted color than this brought $810. Enjoy a better looking note at a better price.
