$5 1950-C FRN - San Francisco
UNIQUE -- ONLY PACK KNOWN!
Early $5 FRN packs were seldom saved making them a scarce sighting and thought-provoking opportunity. At Executive Currency, we buy and sell several hundreds of packs each year and it's our first time owning one of these. After reviewing the census data, we learned this pack is entirely unique and only 3 notes graded in the Gem+ realm. All three notes are PMG 67EPQs, the most recent of which sold for $216 in a Stacks Bowers sale. Not surprisingly, stars bring even more. This pack has one star note according to the PCGS label which lists serial number range: L02804301-400C. Delivered for less than $60 per note; this is an exceptional value.
An impressive opportunity that's unlikely to repeat itself anytime soon.
