$5 1896 Silver Cert. Fr. 269 EDUCATIONAL Electricity as Dominant Force Grant Sheridan Very Fine

An iconic and highly sought after Five Dollar Educational featuring the allegorical image of Electricity as the Dominant Force in the World. This note has a small repaired split off the left margin and there are two tiny pinholes that become barely noticeably (even under scrutiny) when backlit. The inks remain bold, the paper is complete and pleasing, and this is discounted considerably from where the slabbed examples are selling.
