$5 1988 FRN MAJOR PRINTED FOLD ERROR = INSANE MISTAKE! PCGS Ch XF 45PPQ

Wow! After serving as the industry's experts in U.S. Paper Money Errors for nearly 50 years, it takes something wild to drop our jaws....but this note certainly didn't hesitate to stop the show! How did it happen? Like this:

The first (back) printing went exactly according to plan, and then so did the second (face) printing. 

Prior to receiving the overprint (serial numbers and seals) the lower right corner of the sheet folded upwards which was responsible for the second note being visible as well as the overprint occuring on the back of this trophy!

This is an absolutely exceptional example of a Printed Fold error that deserves a place in the most discerning of collections.
