CONSEC PAIR: $1 1935-D Silver Cert with MAJOR SOLVENT SMEAR ERRORS on BLUE SEALS GEM

+

SIlver Certificate mistakes are tough and always sought-after; however, acquiring a consecutive pair of blue seals with enormous solvent smears is nothing shy of impressive! This sequential silver pair remain fully-original and entirely uncirculated with elements suggesting they could have just been printed yesterday! The embossing and centering are impeccable and the errors are seemingly identical and beyond exciting! Solvent Smear mistakes occur when an excessive amount of the solvent solution reaches the printing plate. Unless the reciprocal wipers extract the excess, the residual solvent dilutes the consistency of the fresh layer of ink. The watery ink produces a blurry, hazy, and indistinct image on the printed design--as seen on both of the consecutive silver certificate errors offered here.
