Of the more than 12,000 banks that issued currency under this system, only 34 of them were Utah National Banks, from Beaver City to Spanish Fork. What's more, only about 1,800 Utah National Bank Notes have been reported within currency circles. While the most common Series 1929 notes in circulated grades are available for around $200, the most expensive notes can be worth tens of thousands of dollars. This particular example from The Continental National Bank of Salt Lake City, UT identified by Charter # 9403 has been preserved with a collector in mind! It has retained impressively bright paper and bold inks with no evidence or comments of any problems. A wonderful example of an Olympic host-city National Bank Note!
