Several million years ago, dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Fossilized dinosaur dung, called coprolite, helps teach us a lot about our prehistoric predecessors. Coprolite is considered a trace fossil because it can reveal important information like what the dinosaur ate and what time period it came from. Coprolite is formed when minerals replace the original organic matter, turning it into stone.
These pieces of coprolite are believed to be about 6 million years old. Each piece measures approximately 2-4 inches and can vary in shape and size. Only a limited quantity are available and the nicest will be sold first.
