National Geographic from WWI and WWII Genuine Magazines
Date: 1914 - 1945
United States
These are genuine, original issues of National Geographic dating back to World War I and World War II --the specific month and year you receive will be random, but one will be from the WWI era and the other from WWII era.
Each has about 100 pages of content with topics related to history, culture, and the natural world, with both written articles and photographs. The World War I issues have mostly black and white photos, while the World War II ones have mostly color. The magazines include about 20 pages of vintage advertisements as well, which provide an incredible look into life in the 1910's and 1940's!
They are still in mostly good condition, with some staining and tears on the outer covers. The interior bindings have deteriorated due to the metal staples used in these magazines, but all pages are still secure. Use care not to overstress the binding when opening the magazine.
Map supplements are not included, unfortunately these are no longer present in most surviving copies.
Each comes with a clear removable polypropylene sleeve, to preserve the item in storage.
Please note this is for two magazines.
