$10 1879, Fr. 214, Refunding Certificate. Scarce and distinctive Fr. type that has bold blue serials at the center with dark inks on both sides, including April 1st, 1879 in bright red. This moderately circulated example has some very tiny edge splits in the margin along fold line and some light brown discoloration that’s noticed on both sides.
