$50 1981 FRN OVERPRINT ON BACK ERROR Serials + Seals Printed on Wrong Side! SCARCE DENOM! PMG Gem Unc 65EPQ

A stunning and well-preserved Overprint on Back Error. Both sides of this tough denomination mistake look wrong as the seals and serials are missing from the front and have overcrowded the back. Oops! The press operator accidentally fed these sheets with the already printed back facing up, instead of the blank opposite intended for the face elements. Exceptional Paper Quality, Gem margins, and an uncirculated scarce denom are a few reasons we congratulate the collector that takes home this dramatic mistake.
