This Series 1914 $20 Federal Reserve Note from Cleveland, Fr. 979a, bears the White–Mellon signatures and features Grover Cleveland’s portrait with a blue Treasury seal and blue serial numbers. Its celebrated “Transportation” reverse depicts a train, automobile, steamship, and airplane, capturing an era of expanding travel and commerce by land, sea, and air. The detailed engraving makes this design especially appealing to collectors interested in transportation and early aviation.
