Uncut Sheet - Serial Number One
FINEST KNOWN!
A gorgeous all serial number 1 uncut sheet from this Nassau County bank that appears to have rolled off the press this morning. Carefully preserved over the years, the sheet is fresh and bright with no evidence of handling whatsoever. This Mineola bank was a small-size only affair as it did not open its doors until 1929. For many years, this sheet, and its number 1 $5 counterpart, were listed in the census but had never publicly appeared until May 1999 where the $5 sheet was sold and then was quickly cut. The individual notes from the $5 sheet made several auction appearances between 2000 and 2006 but none have been available since that time.
This $10 Serial Number One Uncut Sheet is the FINEST KNOWN of either sheet or individual notes.
