$5 1988-A FRN INSUFFICIENT INKING OF FACE PRINTING ERROR "Faded Lincoln" PCGS Ch Abt New 58PPQ

– +

The ink well was running dry as this $5 1988-A Federal Reserve Note from Chicago was receiving its second (face) printing.  This "Faded Lincoln" has been preserved with original surfaces and faint handling that seemingly could have only been detected prior to encapsulation as it looks wonderful with pleasing centering!
