A truly incredible 1863 $10 Legal, this stunning note is well margined with four full frame lines and good face to back registration. The rich, dark green overprint on the face is particularly well imprinted on this pretty piece, and the red overprint also displays itself prominently. Besides wonderful green ink color accentuating two large, ornate "X"s as well as ornate guilloche patterns on the back, serial number embossing is showcased. Upon close inspection, only light evidence of circulation is observed and adding to the eye-appeal, this note has not attracted any condition impairments. A scarce opportunity to secure such an impressive note that rarely enters our inventory.
