A handsome example of this earlier Woodchopper type with the large red counter to the right of the central vignette. This offering is well margined and bright, with excellent eye appeal and quite possibly the nicest color we've ever seen for the design. The face of this note is exquisite, but the back doesn't hesitate to perform when flipped over. The blue anti-counterfeiting swath that appears on the lower portion of the bottom is exceptional. This is an all-around terrific example that we simply can't endorse anymore; congratulations to the collector that's been patiently waiting for an example like this to come along.
