An attractive and iconic "Indian Chief" five dollar silver certificate from 1899. This note has been encapsulated by PCGS and assigned the grade of Very Fine 20. There's a comment of 'split' which is small and positioned along the center fold near the bottom. There's a sinlge set of staple hole that the graders didn't comment on as they felt it was a grade-consistent flaw; however, we want to be fully- transparent when describing this note to its next owner. Congratulations on securing a 'must have' design for large size paper money collectors! This mule has backplate # 1301.
