Evaluation of this brilliantly colored Vernon-Treat Ten reveals crisp bright paper, wonderfully original embossing, and four ample margins.
When reviewing prior sales data, we noticed this grade has never crossed the auction block--with the exception of a couple raw examples that someone believed was likely a 63 back in 2000 in a Smythe sale that brought $4400 twenty five years ago. Only a handful of uncirculated examples exist in the census with a jump in grading from 64 to 67....no Gems exist. Not surprisingly, the Superb Gem 67 is bringing five-figures ($25,850 in a Heritage sale in 2015), but here's some recent and relevant auction data to help you determine if this note's apperance and value make a great fit for your collection:
PMG 64EPQ $6,600 - Feb. 2023 (Lyn Knight)
PMG 64EPQ $7,000 - Dec. 2022 (
We wish we had more sales data to show you, but this note is tough in this grade; therefore, we've done our best to price it in a way that won't require much thought. Have it delivered for $5495.
