$2 1976 BEP Currency Label Set : First + Last Note with BEP Brick Label Gem

$2 BEP Currency Label Set – A Collector's Glimpse Into Currency Packaging

This $2 BEP Label Set features the original label from a full brick of $2 notes, along with the first and last notes in the brick. A brick holds 4,000 notes, made up of 40 packs of 100, exactly how currency is shipped from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) to Federal Reserve Banks.

Each label includes the serial number of the first note in the brick, plus details like the denomination, series, Federal Reserve Bank, and packaging information. Labels before 1974 often included more data and had end-labels, which were discontinued after 1977.

This is a lovely three piece set that includes the BEP label as well as the first and last note of the brick!
