$2 1928-B Legal Tender STAR Fr. 1503* VERY RARE - KEY to SERIES PMG Very Fine 20

One of the classic star rarities, with only about ten examples known in all grades combined. Each of the services has graded a single example in Gem, and a lone About Uncirculated specimen is reputed to exist. According to Track & Price, the finest example to cross the auction block since 1990 was graded Very Fine 25, with even the massive Taylor Family Collection unable to locate an example nicer than Fine 12. During this note's time in commerce, the lower left corner was torn and it has since been reattached which the graders commented as corner added on the back of the holder. 

While this note isn't one we mind having in our inventory, we respect and appreciate our role to serve as temporary custodians until a collector is ready. A note like this could take several years, and even decades, to acquire so while it's available, we encourage you to strongly consider adding this trophy.
