Of the more than 12,000 banks that issued currency under this system, only 917 of them were Texas National Banks, from Abilene to Yorktown. What's more, only about 21,000 Texas National Bank Notes have been reported within currency circles. While the most expensive notes can be worth tens of thousands of dollars, we're thrilled to have an affordable example that traded hands and picked up some stains and annotations during its time in commerce. This lovely Lone Star State note retains strong inks and makes a great hometown example for a currency collector or Dallas Cowboys fan!
