$5 1923 Silver Cert, Fr. 282 Lincoln Porthole Iconic Design with Great Look Very Fine
–
+
An exciting opportunity to secure an iconic design! This lovely Lincoln Porthole is from the final series of large size paper money before we transitioned to the money in our pockets and wallets, today. This note spent some in circulation where it picked up two splits--one in the top center and the other confined to the left margin. Both of those splits have since been professionally sealed and the note is now protected within a Mylar-D holder (the same matieral the Library of Congress uses.) As such, it remains ready to be rehomed to catapult a collection with the addition of the must-have Lincoln Porthole. These are getting difficult to find with nice eye-appeal under $2k, so this is real treat!
