Waterloo, IL- Mercantile Bank $1-$2-$3-$5 18__ Proprietary Proof Uncut Sheet Superb Gem Unc.This Proprietary Proof uncut sheet is number 50 of 300 issued by the ABNCo for the August, 1996 ANA convention held in Denver. The notes are uniface and ABNCo information is printed on the back. It is housed in a custom ABNCo folder that states on the inside, "The currency sheet herein was printed entirely by hand from the original steel plates by the American Bank Note Company on an antique spider press." At both top center and bottom center is a notch. These are as made as the folder explains, "The v-shaped cutouts at the top and bottom of the panel are made by the printer prior to the second press pass to insure proper registration of the two colors. Each sheet is numbered and signed by the printer on the reverse side."
