$50 1928 Gold Certificate STAR Fr. 2404* RARE REPLACEMENT NOTE PMG VF 25

One of only 42 stars enumerated in the census for this Friedberg number. This $50 Gold star is a true example of an evenly circulated note that has a small tear repair in the left margin that's been noted by the graders on the back of the holder, but isn't bad enough to earn a net designation. This note is solid for the grade with fewer folds than often seen at this third party grade level. The paper is white and the third printing remains dark making this an excellent addition for a collector that's been dreaming of acquiring a fifty dollar gold certificate star note.
