Terms and Conditions of Sale
[1] All items guaranteed genuine as described without time limit. Any item purchased ExecutiveCurrency.com and later proven to be non-authentic shall receive a refund of the original purchase price as compensation in full without further liability to the seller.
[2]Because grading remains a subjective opinion which varies between examiner and examiner, current or future difference in grades do NOT constitute lack of authenticity.
[3] The original purchaser may exercise a seven day, no-questions-asked return privilege providing the item is returned in the same condition as sold.
[4] However, NO item shall be accepted for return after submission to a third-party grading service. If purchasing third-party graded ("slabbed") notes are of importance, we respectfully request you consider only notes which are already encapsulated.
[5] The buyer should consult the published guarantees/warranties of each third-party grading service and rely solely on those for claims after the seven day return privilege extended by ExecutiveCurrency.com
[6] Any request for variance to these Terms and Conditions must be executed in writing before a sale.
Payment and Shipping
Forms of payment that ensure two business day turnaround on shipping include: Cashiers’ checks, certified checks, money orders, wire transfers and Pay Pal. Personal checks are welcomed but will delay shipment for two weeks to allow those checks to clear. The only form of Visa/MasterCard that we accept is Pay Pal. There is no additional charge for the use of Pay Pal (MasterCard or VISA). If you do not have a Pay Pal account please call Doris Bart of Executive Currency at 1-586-979-3400 who would be delighted to help set up your Pay Pal account. All notes will be very well packaged to properly protect your order. We primarily use USPS Registered and Insured Mail. For overseas clients Fed Ex may be used. Grading U.S. Currency
Grading currency is an art and not a science. There is no one industry standard that is universally accepted by all dealers and/or all collectors. At Executive Currency we make every attempt to grade accurately and conservatively. We have adopted the following descriptions for each grade that we feel parallels that used by the majority of professional currency dealers:
Superb Gem CU or Superb Gem Crisp Uncirculated
A virtually perfect specimen. Large, nearly perfect margins, bright paper, vibrant inks, and fully embossed surfaces.
Gem CU or Gem Crisp Uncirculated
An almost perfect note. Above average margins, with no aging or fading of papers, bright inks.
Choice CU or Choice Crisp Uncirculated
A very nice new note, but margins may be uneven or a bit skewed. Paper may show light aging, with a minimum of handling marks evident.
CU, Unc. or Crisp Uncirculated
A new note with some minor flaws. The note may have some aging, one or two tiny pinholes, margins may be shifted, handling marks will be evident, with one or two corner tip folds allowed.
AU or Almost Uncirculated
A note similar to a CU note above, but will have a centerfold or perhaps one or two light folds in another area.
Extra Fine
A lightly circulated note that may have three folds. Still relatively crisp and clean.
Very Fine
A well circulated note with multiple folds, duller paper and coloration, with little crispness.
