These beautiful multicolored stamps were printed in honor of A DECADE OF SPACE ACHIEVEMENTS.
The stamps include images from the Apollo XV flight and John Glenn's Mercury flight that sent the first man into orbit.
These stamps are AUTOGRAPHED by American artist, ROBERT "Bob" McCALL.
McCall is well-known for his artworks on space. He was an illustrator for Life magazine, Stanley's Kubrick's film 2001: A Space Odyssey, Tora! Tora! Tora! by Richard Fleischer, and Star Treck: The Motion Picture.
McCall's work can be found on US postage stamps as well as NASA patches for missions such as Apollo 17.
His murals line the walls of the NATIONAL AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM, the NATIONAL GALLERY OF ART, The PENTAGON, EPCOT and the LYNDON B. JOHNSON SPACE CENTER.
