These red rose colored stamps were printed in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Postal Union. They are the third stamp design in the series.
The stamp features a two level Boeing 377 Stratocruiser flying over the Pacific Ocean.
The Universal Postal Union was created to improve the world's postal service and international mailing.
Stamps are AUTOGRAPHED by WILLIAM K SCHRAGE a stamp designer for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP).
Many of Schrage's designs are featured on stamps and are desired by collectors.
Having an AUTOGRAPHED MINT PLATE BLOCK of 4 stamps signed by BEP designer Schrage makes a GREAT addition to any collection.
